The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) today announced its approval of a White Rose Development Plan amendment incorporating the South White Rose Extension Tie-back project. The approval is subject to the conditions outlined in Decision Report 2013.04. In its deliberation, the Board considered advice provided in the Development Plan staff analysis.
The Board’s approval of the White Rose Development Plan Amendment was a Fundamental Decision, which has been ratified by the federal and provincial governments, under the Atlantic Accord Implementation Acts. Husky Oil Operations Limited can now proceed with development of the South White Rose Extension project.
